Vintage.
2012 will be the year of the tablet. Screens filled with light, colour and access to billions of words with a single swipe.  For me 2012 will be the year of the book. Taking my $829 (iPad + 3G) and spending it on novels, short stories, fiction, non-fiction, biographies, essays, etc. The written word.  Because nothing (technologically) compares to having a beat-up F. Scott Fitzgerald novel,...

The time is spend with my father is limited. We have loud and angry arguments, but this is completely natural. We always make every effort at reconciliation with either lattes in our hands, or over a good game of ping pong. And I know the tears I shed at my father’s funeral are going to be tears of loss and not of bitter regret.  Dad, you’re awesome.
